Trompe L’oeil Tapestry

The wall finish in this room is a vertical stripe of green, iridescence and interference gold. Anchoring the wall and unifying the surrounding elements of the room is a Trompe L’oeil tapestry.

The painted tapestry uses the reds and golds of the painting it frames to unify the picture, the polychromed medallion and the upholstered chairs.
