Watergate Condo Mural

This mural was created for a client who lives in the Watergate condominium. They requested sailboats and a view of Roosevelt Island from the Memorial Bridge to Georgetown University as seen from the Watergate in a “folk” style.

Details include the blossoming Cherry tree branch, a symbol of spring in Washington, DC. Crews battle it out in a regatta on the river among sailboats.

Upriver is the Key Bridge and the towers of Georgetown University. Near the bottom is the Rock Creek Bike Path with all sorts of characters including the homeowner and his family.
