Showroom Playhouse

I designed and painted this show house playroom for Pulte Homes in Loudon County. Working with Pulte’s Designer, a fort on stilts with a slide, a tire swing from the ceiling, blue and green colors and two trees were required.

A sub-contractor built the fort and installed it on-site. I painted the fort as though it was built from scraps by kids. It is various kinds of Trompe L’oeil wood panels with a Trompe L’oeil corrugated metal panel.

I created two trees - one in the corner of the fort and the other in the center of the room “holding up” the tire swing.

Using the designer specified colors, I painted walls and ceiling murals in simple graphic silhouettes with some blended soft edges.
